A new generation of high capacity optical discs could be on the way as Pioneer claims to have developed read-only disc media with 16 layers and a total capacity of 400 GB.
The company believes that the technology could greatly reduce the number of discs to be used and therefore contribute to the conservation of resources.

There are 41 Deathmatch entries into Phase 1 of the Make Something Unreal Contest, and as such we've split all of them into two chunks. SCREENSHOTS OF LEVELS beginning with the letters A-K will be posted today and the L-Z bunch will be posted tomorrow. If you click on the screenshot, you can view a short description of the map or what it is you are seeing. We also have a DOWNLOAD LINK that consists of all DM (A-K) maps in one big download.

Look for updates to the article soon as we add the DM levels.

Nvidia so far declined to provide any information if and when the company will consider support the DirectX 10.1 API in its GPUs,
a technology that is integrated AMD’s Radeon cards for some time now.
Roadmap information we stumbled across today offers a bit more clarity and suggests that the company’s next-generation desktop and notebook chips will support DirectX 10.1.
